Lazio Resume Talks With Eintracht Frankfurt for Winger Filip Kostic, Roma Also Interested

Lazio have resumed talks with Eintracht Frankfurt for Serbian winger Filip Kostic.

As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, the Biancocelesti are still searching for a new winger for coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system and have resumed talks with the Bundesliga side for the 28-year-old Serbian winger.

The Roman club have been following Kostic for some time now and they are feeling confident after the recent talks, believing it to be possible to reach a deal on the basis of a loan with a buy option attached.

Intercity rivals Roma are also keen on signing the 28-year-old Kostic (via Alfredo Pedulla) but need to make a sale first after signing Eldor Shomurodov.

Lazio have also been linked to other Bundesliga wingers, namely Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Brandt and VfL Wolfsburg’s Josip Brekalo, but nothing concrete has occurred yet.

The 28-year-old Kostic, who is contracted to Eintracht Frankfurt until 2023, made 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, for a total of 2536 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided 14 assists in that time.
