Lazio could look to sign Juventus defender Merih Demiral should they sell Luiz Felipe to Atalanta.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Bergamo-based club are considering signing the 24-year-old Brazilian centre back as a replacement for Cristian Romero, with Tottenham working to sign the Argentinian defender.

The situation is incredibly complicated, as it relies on both the sale of Romero to the Premier League side and then the subsequent purchase of Luiz Felipe.
However, should this all take place, then Lazio are interested in signing the 23-year-old Demiral as his replacement.

The Turkish centre back seems destined to leave the Bianconeri this summer and both coach Maurizio Sarri and sporting director Igli Tare appreciate the player.
Demiral, who is contracted to Juventus until 2024, made 15 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 934 minutes. In that time, he provided one assist and helped the side keep six clean sheets.
