Lazio Forward Felipe Anderson Was the First to Arrive in Formello Today

Lazio forward Felipe Anderson was the first player to arrive at the training centre in Formello today.

As reported by Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti squad will meet today in Formello ahead of their departure to Marienfeld in Germany for another short pre-season training camp.

The squad have had three days of rest following their 18-day training retreat in Auronzo di Cadore and will be met by returning favourites Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi and Joaquin Correa, all of whom took their medicals today.

Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson was the first Lazio player to arrive in Formello today, with Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito arriving shortly after him.

The Lazio squad began their training session at 5:30 pm local time today, under the watchful gaze of coach Maurizio Sarri.

Lazio’s first game of the new Serie A season will take place away to newly promoted Empoli on the evening of 21st August.
