Lazio to Meet Kostic’s Agent Ramadani Today but There’s Already a Problem

Lazio will meet with agent Fali Ramadani today to discuss Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic but there could be a problem related to EU spots in the squad.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 28-year-old Serbian winger has come back on the Biancocelesti’s radar and so they’ll meet with his agent Ramadani today to discuss a potential deal.

One of the issues, though, is related to the non-EU spots in the squad. Lazio’s two available slots have been filled by Felipe Anderson and Dimitrije Kamenovic, meaning that they wouldn’t be able to register Kostic as well.

It’s unlikely that Kamenovic will be sent back, although he could be sold or sent on loan to another team, like what happened with Martin Caceres a few years ago.

Developments are expected in the coming days, although the Roman club still cannot make any new signings due to the now infamous liquidity ratio.
