Lazio sporting director Igli Tare met agent Fali Ramadani last night to discuss Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla last night, the Biancocelesti sporting director met Ramadani in a restaurant in Rome to discuss the 28-year-old Serbian winger, who is one of the club’s transfer targets for this summer.

One issue is that Kostic is a non-EU national, meaning he would fill one of the two available slots in the squad. Lazio have not officially signed Felipe Anderson or Dimitrije Kamenovic yet, so it’s not impossible to imagine them sending the young defender out on loan for next season.
The 28-year-old Serbian winger would be perfect for coach Maurizio Sarri’s 4-3-3 system, but the Bundesliga side want around €15-18 million for him. It’s possible that they’ll be open to a loan deal with a buy option attached, that could become an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.

The deal is facilitated by Kostic’s desire to leave Frankfurt and so it’s no coincidence that the German side are interested in AC Milan‘s Jens Peter Hauge.
Kostic has also been offered to Roma and Jose Mourinho likes the player, but the Giallorossi have to make some sales after signing Matias Vina and Eldor Shomurodov.
It’s also possible that Ramadani discussed former Napoli defender Nikola Maksimovic last night, who is currently a free agent.
