As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the Biancocelesti squad met up at the training centre in Formello yesterday, with key figures Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi and Joaquin Correa joining their teammates for the first time this summer.
The Lazio squad will fly to Dortmund tomorrow and then will travel to Marienfeld for a five-day training camp. On 7th August, the team will then travel to Enschede in the Netherlands, where they’ll play Eredivisie side Twente in a friendly at 7:30 pm local time.
The Biancocelesti previously spent 18 days in a retreat in Auronzo di Cadore, with coach Maurizio Sarri working hard to imprint his ideas on the players and teach them the required movements ahead of the start of the new season.
Lazio’s first game of the season will be against newly promoted side Empoli on 21st August.
