Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri will try to convince Joaquin Correa to stay with the club.
As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 26-year-old Argentinian forward appeared at the Formello training centre yesterday ahead of tomorrow’s departure to a retreat in Marienfeld, Germany.

His presence at yesterday’s training session wasn’t certain considering that he asked to leave the club at the end of last season.
Coach Maurizio Sarri will work to convince the 26-year-old Correa to stay as he believes the player to be a strong fit for his 4-3-3 system. He also doesn’t want to have to find another forward in the transfer market.

Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito values Correa at around €35-40 million, but the interested clubs do not look likely to match that this summer.
At this point, Correa has still not changed his mind but there is a chance that Sarri could convince him.
