Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has requested that Lazio full-back Elseid Hysaj pay him €65 thousand in compensation.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the reason that De Laurentiis has asked the 27-year-old Albanian full-back to pay the compensation is that he was part of the group that refused to go into a retreat following a 1-1 draw with RB Salzburg.

De Laurentiis’ request has already reached Hysaj’s lawyer and the next steps are now being considered. There is a genuine possibility that Hysaj may refuse to pay and force the matter to go to court.
This has not been an easy pre-season for Hysaj after having upset the club’s ultras last month with his decision to sing ‘Bella Ciao’ for his initiation song.
