29 years ago today, Lazio signed English forward Paul Gascoigne from Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
As seen in a post on Classic Shirt’s Twitter page earlier today, the Biancocelesti signed the Englishman from Spurs on 1st August 1992 for around €7.4 million.

Gazza spent three years with the Roman club and quickly became a fan favourite for both his on-the-pitch abilities and his off-the-pitch antics, before leaving in 1995 for Rangers.

Gazza made 47 appearances for Lazio in that time, scoring three goals and providing six assists.
