Lazio expect Basic to arrive in Rome today, where he’ll take his medicals before signing for the club. It’s likely that he won’t be officially registered just yet, due to the now infamous liquidity ratio which is stopping the Biancocelesti from confirming their new signings.

Basic will then join the squad after their flight to Germany and coach trip to Marienfeld, where the team will spend the next six days working closely with coach Maurizio Sarri.
The 24-year-old Basic made 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season, for a total of 2611 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided one assist.
