Four years ago today, Lazio signed Ecuadorian striker Felipe Caicedo from La Liga side Espanyol.

As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page earlier today, the Biancocelesti signed the Ecuadorian forward from the Spanish side for around €2.5 million four years ago today, where he became a fan favourite.

Caicedo has scored 33 goals and provided 15 assists in 139 appearances across all competitions for Lazio, often scoring in the final minutes to give the Roman club the victory.

Fans are incredibly fond of the Ecuadorian striker and have even coined the phrase ‘Amami o faccio un Caicedo’ (Love me or I’ll do a Caicedo), a play on the words from the Coez song ‘Faccio un casino’, to show their affection.
