Lazio Will Face German Third Tier Side SV Meppen in Pre-Season Friendly Tomorrow

Lazio will face 3. Liga side SV Meppen in their first pre-season friendly in Marienfeld tomorrow.

As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, tomorrow will be the Biancocelesti squad’s third day of the retreat and already they’ll be playing a friendly, facing SV Meppen, who play in the German third tier.

The match will kick off at 6:30 pm local time and will be the first of the two friendlies scheduled for this training retreat. The second will take place on Saturday and will be against Dutch side FC Twente.

SV Meppen finished 17th out of 20 teams in the 3. Liga last season, ending the campaign with 41 points from 12 wins, five draws and 21 losses. They have already kicked off their regular league season and currently have picked up one win and one loss from their opening two fixtures.

This will be the first friendly under coach Maurizio Sarri where Ciro Immobile, Francesco Acerbi and Joaquin Correa will be present.
