Valencia Serious About Signing Lazio Forward Muriqi This Summer

La Liga side Valencia are reportedly serious about signing Lazio forward Vedat Muriqi this summer.

As reported by Spanish newspaper Diario AS (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are currently working on selling players in order to solve their liquidity ratio issue, which is currently stopping them from signing any new players, like Bordeaux midfielder Toma Basic.

One player who could be sold this summer is the 27-year-old Muriqi, who did not have a good debut season in Italy. Bundesliga sides Borussia Monchengladbach and Eintracht Frankfurt are also keen on acquiring the Kosovan forward, meaning a move away this summer is possible.

In the coming days, there could be serious developments, with Valencia making a move for Muriqi (who is currently with the first team and coach Maurizio Sarri in Marienfeld, Germany).

Muriqi, who is contracted to Lazio until 2025, made 27 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 821 minutes. In that time, he scored only one goal.
