Lazio Forward Correa Waiting for a Move With Inter & Everton Closely Linked

Lazio forward Joaquin Correa is waiting for a move away amidst interest from Inter and Premier League side Everton.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 26-year-old Argentinian forward played well in yesterday’s frustrating 1-1 pre-season draw against German third-tier side SV Meppen but was sent off for dissent.

Correa has shown his desire to leave Lazio and is waiting for offers to arrive, with both the Nerazzurri and the Toffees interested in making a move for him this month.

Both the interested clubs are monitoring the situation and could look to make an offer in the coming days, although it’s unclear if either side are willing to pay the €30 million requested by president Claudio Lotito.

The sale of the 26-year-old Argentinian would unblock Lazio’s incoming transfer market, solving their issues with the liquidity ratio.

Inter are unlikely to make a move for Correa until they sell either Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku or Argentinian forward Lautaro Martinez.
