Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri expected more from the squad at this stage of the pre-season preparations.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, there are only 15 days until the start of the 2021/22 Serie A season and the Biancocelesti are still hard at work trying to adapt to the 62-year-old Italian coach’s philosophy and tactics.
At this point in the pre-season, Sarri expected more from his players, often finding those who are confused about the ideas or the movements.
Sarri is now hoping for some new reinforcements to arrive before the end of this month to strengthen the squad ahead of the new campaign.
