Lotito Won’t Sell Lazio Forward Correa to Inter for Anything Less Than €40m

Lazio president Claudio Lotito will not sell Joaquin Correa to Inter for anything less than €40 million.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Nerazzurri are lining up replacements for Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who could be sold to Chelsea in the coming days.

One player that the Milanese club are keen on is the 26-year-old Correa, who knows coach Simone Inzaghi well and has asked for a move away from Rome this summer.

Lotito will only sell Correa to Inter for €40 million, with the Lazio president still feeling betrayed by the nature of Inzaghi’s move to the Nerazzurri earlier this summer.

Premier League side Everton are also interested in signing the 26-year-old Argentinian forward but so far no offers have arrived.

The 26-year-old Correa made 28 Serie A appearances last season, for a total of 1945 minutes. In that time, he scored eight goals and provided four assists.
