Caicedo Is One of the Many Lazio Players Set to Leave the Club This Month

Felipe Caicedo is one of the many Lazio players that are likely to leave the club this month.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24), the 32-year-old Ecuadorian forward seems destined to leave the club before the end of this month, with coach Maurizio Sarri only needing one alternative to Ciro Immobile, which will be Vedat Muriqi.

Considering this, his sale is probable this summer, especially considering that his contract expires with the Biancocelesti next year in 2022. Inter are keen on Caicedo, as are Fenerbahce, but nothing concrete has arrived yet.

Other Lazio first-team players who are likely to be sold this month are Jony, Denis Vavro, Andre Anderson and Marius Adamonis. The first two failed to convince Sarri in the pre-season retreat and so could return to Spain on a loan deal.

Andre Anderson could end up at Venezia alongside Sofian Kiyine and Fabio Maistro, who both are set for a move to the newly-promoted side.

Riza Durmisi is reported to have offers from Denmark and the Spanish second division, and Bobby Adekanye could return to the Netherlands.

Cedric Gondo is close to joining Serie B side Como and Tiago Casasola is heavily linked with Frosinone.

Lazio are also hoping to find new homes for Jordan Lukaku, Patryk Dziczek, Emanuele Cicerelli, Simone Palombi and Cristiano Lombardi.
