Six years ago today, Lazio signed Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from KRC Genk.
As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page earlier today, the Biancocelesti paid €18 million to the Belgian side for Milinkovic-Savic, which ended up being one of the most important Lazio deals in the last decade.
The 26-year-old Milinkovic-Savic is one of the best midfielders in Europe and has consistently attracted the attention of the top clubs around the continent, but has always remained content in Rome.
