Eintracht Frankfurt Winger Kostic May Finally Sign For Lazio Next Week

Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic may finally sign for Lazio next week.

As reported by Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.com earlier today, the Biancocelesti have been working to finalise the deal for the 28-year-old Serbian winger for some time now and seemed to have reached an agreement on the basis of a loan deal with an obligation to buy clause attached.

It seems now that Kostic may finally put pen to paper next week, joining coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad ahead of the new Serie A season.

In order to facilitate the inclusion of the 28-year-old Serb into the squad, Lazio will have to free up one of their two non-EU player slots, which are currently filled by Dimitrije Kamenovic and Felipe Anderson.

Considering how the Brazilian winger is expected to be an integral part of Sarri’s squad next season, it’s likely that Kamenovic will be the player to give up his spot. He will then leave on a loan deal.
