Lazio midfielder Lucas Leiva highlighted the importance of the next two weeks ahead of the start of the new Serie A season.
Speaking in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via LazioNews24) after yesterday’s 1-0 friendly win over FC Twente, the 34-year-old Brazilian midfielder discussed the importance of the remaining weeks of the pre-season.
It was important to win after two draws, even if they are friendlies we always want to win. Now we rest, we’ll prepare well these 15 days to start the season well.
The key is the willingness of the group to learn a different system, it’s normal that there will be some mistakes but we had a good training camp in Auronzo and here in Germany.
If we are willing to learn we can do great things.
