Sarri to Meet With Lazio President Lotito to Discuss Transfer Market Today or Tomorrow

Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri will meet with president Claudio Lotito over the next 48 hours to discuss the transfer market.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, a face-to-face meeting between the 62-year-old Italian coach and the Biancocelesti president is scheduled for either today or tomorrow, with the pair wanting to fully clarify the situation surrounding the transfer market.

At the centre of the discussion will be the status of the requested reinforcements, with Sarri wanting players like Bordeaux midfielder Toma Basic and Eintracht Frankfurt winger Filip Kostic to strengthen the Lazio squad.

The liquidity ratio is a serious problem that is blocking any new signings and so the outgoing market will also be discussed, with the players that are unneeded by Sarri being underlined.

The Roman club will then work hard to sell the redundant players quickly to allow them to close out a few deals before the end of this month when the transfer window closes.
