Lazio will face Sassuolo in a pre-season friendly in Frosinone on Saturday evening.
As seen in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page earlier today, the Biancocelesti will face coach Alessio Dionisi’s side at the Stadio Benito Stirpe in Frosinone on Saturday 14th August at 7:00 pm local time.
The Neroverdi’s previous coach Roberto De Zerbi left the club at the end of last season, taking the vacant job at Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk, who regularly compete in the Champions League.

Sassuolo’s replacement is the 41-year-old Dionisi, who was most recently in charge of Empoli. His impressive results with the Tuscan side, which led to their promotion to Serie A, saw him offered a two-year deal with the Neroverdi.

Sassuolo have managed to keep a hold of star midfielder Manuel Locatelli, whose impressive performances at Euro 2020 saw him become a household name, but there is still a chance he’ll join Juventus before the end of this month.
