Lazio midfielder Danilo Cataldi’s injury is not as serious as first thought and he may return to training today.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian midfielder did not feature in the pre-season friendly against FC Twente on Saturday due to a muscle injury.
He visited the Paideia clinic yesterday to undergo some medical tests, which revealed that he did not suffer anything serious.
Therefore, Cataldi could return to Formello as early as this afternoon, when coach Maurizio Sarri’s squad will meet for training.
