Lazio star Ciro Immobile has scored the most non-penalty goals in Serie A since the 2015/16 season.
As reported by Italian stats provider OptaPaolo on Twitter earlier today, the 31-year-old Italian striker has scored 91 non-penalty league goals since the start of the 15/16 season, in which he spent the first half in La Liga with Sevilla.
In second place is former Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan forward Gonzalo Higuain, followed by Roma’s Edin Dzeko, who is expected to sign for Inter any day now.

Below is the list of the top five non-penalty goalscorers in Serie A in the last six seasons, accompanied by the caption: “82 – Edin Dzeko is the third-highest scorer in Serie A excluding penalties since his debut in the competition (in 2015/16): 82 goals, fewer only than Ciro Immobile (91) and Gonzalo Higuaín (86). Reliable.”

In the second half of the 15/16 season, Immobile joined Torino before signing for Lazio in the summer of that year.
