Former Lazio captain Alessandro Nesta visited Formello yesterday to study coach Maurizio Sarri’s tactical system.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Tempo (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 45-year-old Italian coach visited the Biancocelesti’s training ground in Formello yesterday and a photo of him together with Sarri immediately went viral.
Nesta visited Formello in order to study the tactics and systems used by Sarri. He previously visited Parma and AC Milan in order to study there as well, looking to perfect his method of play before taking on another coaching role somewhere.
In his first season in charge, the club finished 8th but lost the playoff final to Spezia.
Last campaign, Frosinone finished 10th, missing out of the playoffs, which led to Nesta’s sacking from the club.
