Arsenal Defender Kolasinac Is One of Lazio’s Top Targets to Strengthen the Defence

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is one of Lazio’s top options to strengthen their defence this month.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are looking for a defender and have identified the 28-year-old Bosnian as a strong option.

Rumours from England have also linked Kolasinac with a move to Lazio. He seemed set to join Turkish side Fenerbahce but the deal fell through, and so a move to Rome may now be on the cards.

The Biancocelesti have been linked with Kolasinac for some time now, with it being no secret that the 28-year-old Bosnian defender is not a part of coach Mikel Arteta’s plans for this season, leaving him destined to leave the Gunners this month.

Kolasinac made 17 Bundesliga appearances last season for Schalke whilst on loan, for a total of 1425 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal, provided one assist and helped the side keep four clean sheets.
