Manchester United’s Pereira Could Return to Lazio on Loan This Month

Manchester United’s Andreas Pereira could return to Lazio on loan this summer.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, coach Maurizio Sarri has asked the Biancocelesti to sign another forward as currently only youngsters Raul Moro and Luka Romero are providing backup for Joaquin Correa and Felipe Anderson.

Lazio’s market moves are currently restricted by the liquidity ratio but president Claudio Lotito has promised Sarri that it will be resolved soon.

The possibility of seeing Andreas Pereira return to Lazio is therefore still alive. The Brazilian, who holds a Belgian passport and so doesn’t take up a non-EU slot, is still looking for a new team, not being a part of coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans for this season.

The switch from a 3-5-2 to a 4-3-3, as well as Sarri’s general tactics, could benefit Pereira and so he could return to Rome on loan this month.
