Atalanta are interested in signing Lazio full-back Manuel Lazzari to replace the injured Hans Hateboer.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 27-year-old Hateboer is currently suffering from a foot injury that will keep him sidelined until at least early October, forcing the Bergamo based club to find a strong replacement before the end of this month.
Lazzari, who is struggling a little in coach Maurizio Sarri’s four-man defence, could be perfect for coach Gian Piero Gasperini’s 3-5-2 system.

A deal would be good for Lazio, as selling Lazzari would unblock their liquidity ratio and allow them to start making new signings.

The Biancocelesti want at least €25 million for the 27-year-old Italian full-back, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2024.
Lazzari was also linked with a move to Simone Inzaghi’s Inter earlier this summer, but a move never materialised, leaving him to adapt to Sarri’s system instead.
