Lazio Primavera Midfielder Marino Close to Joining Serie B Side Piacenza on Loan

Lazio Primavera midfielder Andrea Marino is close to joining Serie B side Piacenza on loan.

As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla last night, the 20-year-old Italian midfielder is set to become a new Piacenza player, with the Serie B side having already reached an agreement with the Biancocelesti.

The deal will be fully formalised soon, with yet another Lazio Primavera player leaving the club on a loan deal.

The 20-year-old Marino, who is contracted to Lazio until 2024, made 29 Primavera 1 appearances last season, for a total of 2356 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided one assist, being one of the top talents in the Primavera squad.

Lazio Primavera were relegated from Primavera 1 last campaign and so coach Alessandro Calori will have to work hard to ensure the team’s return to the topflight.

Other Primavera players are also likely to leave on loan before the end of this month, and further updates are expected soon.
