Lazio duo Adam Marusic and Danilo Cataldi are set to miss the opening game of the season against Empoli.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the pair are likely to be absent for the season opener against the newly promoted Empoli due to injuries, which also forced them to miss yesterday’s pre-season friendly against Sassuolo.
The 28-year-old Marusic is currently suffering from a muscle strain, which the club are monitoring closely in case it poses a bigger problem.
