Decisive Week for Correa as Lazio Want €30m From Heavily Linked Inter

Decisive week for Lazio forward Joaquin Correa as Inter must pay €30 million to secure the Argentinian.

As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, this week could be the 27-year-old’s last in a Biancocelesti shirt, with Simone Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri the number one favourites to sign the player.

Correa only played 12 minutes in Lazio’s recent pre-season friendly against Sassuolo and seems destined to depart this month, having already asked for a move away twice in the last few months.

The Argentinian forward’s agent Alessandro Lucci is working hard to try and facilitate a deal between Inter and Lazio, but president Claudio Lotito is not keen to accept any offers below €30 million.

The sale of Correa would completely solve the Biancocelesti’s issue with the liquidity ratio, which is currently blocking them from making any new signings.

This could be the decisive week regarding Correa’s future, with only two weeks remaining in the transfer window now.
