Lazio Under 18 coach Tommaso Rocchi has renewed his contract for another year.
As announced by Rocchi’s agent Mario de Rossi on Instagram (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 43-year-old Italian coach will continue in his role as the U18 coach for another year, signing a one-year contract extension tying him to the club until 2022.
The former Lazio forward, who spent nine years of his playing career with the Roman club from 2004 to 2013, was appointed to the U18 head coach role last year and impressed in his first year in charge, averaging 1.25 points per match.

Last season, Lazio U18 finished 7th in the Campionato Nazionale Under 18 2020/21, having picked up 25 points. The Roman club finished the campaign with a record of six wins, seven draws and seven losses, outperforming AC Milan U18 and Fiorentina U18.

Intercity rivals Roma U18 finished second last season, so Rocchi will work to close the gap this season.
