Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira, who has been linked with Lazio for some time now, has been offered to rivals Roma.
As reported by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 25-year-old Uruguayan midfielder is set to leave the Gunners this summer, not being a part of coach Mikel Arteta’s plans in North London.
The former Sampdoria man, who is one of the players the Biancocelesti have been following for some time now, has now been offered to the Giallorossi, who have expressed interest in the midfielder.

Lazio will not make a move for Torreira until they manage to sell Argentinian midfielder Gonzalo Escalante, who has been linked with a move to Ligue 1 side Olympique de Marseille.

Luckily for the Biancocelesti, Roma would also need to make a sale first before signing the 25-year-old Uruguayan midfielder, such as Amadou Diawara or Carles Perez.
This means that there could be a transfer market Derby della Capitale for Torreira’s signature, with updates expected over the next fortnight.
