Everton are still keen to sign Lazio forward Joaquin Correa but the Argentinian would prefer a move to Inter.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Toffees are still looking to strengthen their attack this month and are still interested in the 27-year-old Biancocelesti forward, who asked the club for a move away earlier this summer.

Correa would prefer to join Simone Inzaghi’s Inter, but the Nerazzurri have failed to make a decisive offer for the player, and with only two weeks left in the transfer window, time is starting to run out.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito wants around €30 million for the 27-year-old Argentinian forward and the sale of the player would entirely solve the Biancocelesti’s issue with the liquidity ratio, which is blocking them from making any new signings.

Updates are expected as the week develops, with a move away from Rome seeming likely for Correa still. As it stands, no offer has been made by Everton.
