Lazio defender Luiz Felipe joined his teammates in today’s training session, calming injury concerns.
As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 24-year-old Brazilian defender missed the squad training session yesterday, causing some concerns about his condition ahead of the Serie A season opener against Empoli on Saturday.
Those fears have been quelled today, with Luiz Felipe joining the squad and coach Maurizio Sarri on the pitch in Formello, completing the session.

Montenegrin full-back Adam Marusic also returned to the squad for today’s session, after missing Lazio’s pre-season friendly against Sassuolo on Saturday. He’ll be competing with Manuel Lazzari for a starting spot in the match against Empoli.

Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic took part in the athletic work alongside the rest of the midfielders and forwards this morning, returning after yesterday’s rest due to a slight injury.
The Lazio squad will regroup this afternoon at 5:45 pm local time for the second training session of the day.
