New Talks Between Lazio & Inter for Correa Yesterday, No Agreement Yet

There were new talks between Lazio and Inter yesterday regarding a possible deal for Joaquin Correa.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the two parties furthered discussed a deal for the 27-year-old Argentinian forward yesterday, with the player’s agent Alessandro Lucci working hard to try and find a solution that makes everyone happy.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito wants around €30 million plus add-ons for Correa, but it’s unlikely that the Nerazzurri will manage to match those figures, although a deal can still be reached for a lower price.

The Argentinian forward asked for a move away from the club twice in the last few months, and selling Correa would solve Lazio’s issue with the liquidity ratio, so it’s in the Biancocelesti’s best interest to try and reach an acceptable deal with Inter.

Premier League side Everton are also interested in signing the 27-year-old former Sevilla man, but for now it seems that Inter are still the favourites.

  1. If they don’t want to pay 30 for Correa then lets not bother.

He is worth more than 30 and just came off a Copa america win.
