Inter Still Consider Lazio Forward Correa as One of Many Options

Lazio forward Joaquin Correa is still one of Inter’s top targets to strengthen their attack.

As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla on Twitter last night, the Nerazzurri have updated coach Simone Inzaghi with the list of their transfer targets, with the 27-year-old Argentinian forward still being considered by the club.

Regarding Atalanta forward Duvan Zapata there has been no progress for Inter and a move for Torino talisman Andrea Belotti seems unlikely. Correa is still an option and Borussia Monchengladbach winger Marcus Thuram is also on the cards.

The 27-year-old Lazio forward asked the club for a move away twice already in the last few months, but with less than two weeks left in the summer transfer window, he may not get his move away.

The sale of Correa would completely solve the Biancocelesti’s issue with the liquidity ratio, but president Claudio Lotito is set to inject capital into the club to sort it instead, as a deal for the Argentine has still not been completed.
