Roma’s Pedro Secretly Carried Out at Paideia This Morning Ahead of Lazio Move

Roma winger Pedro carried out his medicals at the Paideia Clinic in secret this morning, ahead of his move to Lazio.

As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero earlier today, the 34-year-old Spanish winger secretly visited the Paideia Clinic this morning in order to undergo some medical tests and is expected to arrive at the training ground in Formello this afternoon.

Pedro appeared to be in great shape and will be greeted by coach Maurizio Sarri, who is keen to be reunited with the former Chelsea winger.

The 34-year-old Spaniard was released from his contract by Roma and will sign a two-year contract with Lazio, earning around €3 million per season.

The former Barcelona man could therefore be available for the Biancocelesti’s season opener against Empoli on Saturday evening.

Pedro is the first player to directly transfer between the two rival clubs since 1981, a 40-year gap, when Carlo Perrone made the switch.
