Lazio have officially announced the signing of Spanish winger Pedro from rivals Roma.
As announced in a post on Lazio’s Twitter page earlier today, the 34-year-old Spaniard has signed a two-year deal with the Biancocelesti until June 30, 2023, earning around €3 million net per season; the same wages that he was receiving at Roma.

The 34-year-old Spaniard will wear the number 9 shirt at the Biancocelesti, a number that often carries certain importance. Coach Maurizio Sarri was excited to be reunited with the former Chelsea man.
Pedro is the first player since Carlo Perrone to directly transfer between the two rival clubs. This occurred 40 years ago back in 1981.
Last season he made 40 appearances in all competitions for the Giallorossi, scoring 6 goals and providing 7 assists.
