Lazio didn’t register Dimitrije Kamenovic yesterday as they work to close out a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla last night, the 21-year-old Serbian defender would occupy one of the two non-EU player slots in the squad and so the club didn’t register him yesterday alongside the other new signings.
The Biancocelesti are working hard to sign the 28-year-old Kostic from Eintracht Frankfurt and are confident that a deal will be reached soon, reassuring the player that it’s only a matter of time. Sporting director Igli Tare will meet with his agent Fali Ramadani soon to close things.

The arrival of Kostic does not depend on the sale of Argentinian forward Joaquin Correa, who was the topic of discussions between Everton and Lazio yesterday evening.

Kostic would also occupy a non-EU player slot in the squad, which explains Kamenovic’s absence from the list.
