New Talks Last Night Between Everton & Lazio Regarding a Possible Deal for Correa

New talks between Lazio and Everton regarding forward Joaquin Correa last night.

As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla last night, the Biancocelesti were in touch with the Premier League side yesterday evening, discussing the 27-year-old Argentinian forward. The Roman club reiterated that they value the player at €30 million, not wanting to sell for any less.

Everton made it clear that they’re willing to discuss the matter further, with Correa clearly not being a key part of coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans for this season.

Simone Inzaghi’s Inter are also keen to sign the 27-year-old Correa, but it seems now that they may be focusing on securing other targets instead.

With less than two weeks left in the transfer window, Everton and Lazio will have to reach an agreement soon if the transfer is to be completed in time.
