Bordeaux midfielder Toma Basic may finally sign for Lazio on Monday or Tuesday next week.
As reported by Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the talks for the 24-year-old Croatian midfielder between the two clubs have entered the final phases now, with a total agreement almost being reached.
Next week will be the decisive one, with it seeming likely that Basic will arrive in Rome on either Monday or Tuesday next week.

Lazio have been keen to sign the 24-year-old Basic for some time now, appreciating his strong performances for Bordeaux. They believe him to be the perfect replacement for the ageing Lucas Leiva.

The deal for the player will cost around €10 million in total, with €7 million being the initial fee and €3 million in add-ons.
The 24-year-old Croatian midfielder made 34 Ligue 1 appearances last season, for a total of 2611 minutes. In that time, he scored four goals and provided one assist, shining both with his passing and defensive qualities.
