Lazio forward Joaquin Correa has paused talks with Everton as he wants to join Simone Inzaghi’s Inter.
As reported by Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla earlier today, the Argentinian forward’s agent Alessandro Lucci met the Nerazzurri’s management yesterday to discuss a possible deal, and the feeling was positive between the two parties.
Correa would cost around €5 million more than Inter’s other target Marcus Thuram, who is valued at around €30 million including add-ons, whilst Biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito wanting around €35 million including add-ons.

However, Correa has two sponsors at Inter. The first is coach Simone Inzaghi, who is keen to be reunited with the 27-year-old Argentinian forward, and the second is Lautaro Martinez, who recently won the Copa America alongside the Lazio forward.

Lucci is working hard to close the gap between the two clubs and there’s a serious chance that the deal will be completed before the end of this summer’s transfer market.
