Lazio Winger Felipe Anderson: “In These Last Two Years I Have Grown a Lot”

Lazio winger Felipe Anderson highlighted how much he grew in his time away from Rome.

Speaking in an interview with Lazio’s official magazine (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the 28-year-old Brazilian winger commented on his growth whilst playing for West Ham and Porto.

In these last two years I have grown a lot, in every aspect. Even though they were tough because I played very little, I could see everything that wasn’t going well.

I feel stronger, both physically and mentally, I’ve learned from the difficulties and I’ve improved as a man and a footballer.

The Lazio winger then touched on the importance of feeling good mentally before stepping onto the pitch.

If you feel good about yourself, you also feel good on the pitch, it’s all a consequence. I feel ready because this is the best phase of my life.
