Lazio striker Ciro Immobile wants to win another capocannoniere title as he looks to match Gunnar Nordahl’s record of five.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti talisman will start under coach Maurizio Sarri in the team’s Serie A opener against Empoli this evening, an opportunity for him to kick the season off in an exciting fashion.
Immobile, alongside Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo, is one of the favourites for the top scorer’s award this season, with eyes also on Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.
