Napoli and Atalanta are also keen on Malmo defender and Lazio target Anel Ahmedhodzic.
As reported by Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti are looking for a new defender to replace the outcast Denis Vavro, who did not impress coach Maurizio Sarri at the pre-season training camp in Auronzo di Cadore.
The Roman club’s top defensive target is the 22-year-old Anel Ahmedhodzic, who is contracted to Swedish side Malmo until 2023.

Developments are expected in the coming days, with less than two weeks left in the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old Ahmedhodzic made 12 Allsvenskan appearances last season for Malmo, for a total of 1080 minutes. In that time, he scored one goal and helped the side keep three clean sheets. The young defender impressed, showing his potential and strong defensive capabilities.
