Outcast Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira wants to return to Serie A, with both Lazio and Fiorentina interested in him.
As reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio last night, Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt made a formal offer to Arsenal for the 25-year-old Uruguayan midfielder, but the player isn’t interested, instead preferring a return to Italy.
Torreira spent the first four years of his professional career in Italy, playing with both Pescara and Sampdoria, before joining the Gunners in 2018. The player failed to fully settle at Arsenal and is not part of coach Mikel Arteta’s project in North London.
