Lazio Hope to Finalise Deal for Bordeaux Midfielder Basic in the Next Few Days

Lazio want to sign Bordeaux midfielder Toma Basic in time for the Serie A match against Spezia on Saturday.

As reported by Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today, the Biancocelesti have been working to sign the 24-year-old Croatian midfielder for some time now and their offer is only €500 thousand below the Ligue 1 club’s requested price.

The player’s entourage are under pressure from the French club to close out the deal as quickly as possible, as they want to re-invest the funds into other transfer targets.
