Lazio Women coach Carolina Morace looked ahead to the Biancocelesti’s Serie A Femminile opener against Sampdoria on Saturday.
As seen in a post on Morace’s Instagram page earlier today, the 57-year-old Italian coach is excited for the Roman side’s first game of the Serie A Femminile season, having won promotion from Serie B last season.

The Lazio Women coach showed a photo of the squad in pre-season training, which can be seen below.

Morace commented on the match in the post, saying:
The wait is about to end: on Sunday 29 August at 17.30, we will make our debut in the top flight against Sampdoria.
We have worked hard and are curious to see where we stand. The team is young but determined to do well.
Sampdoria Women was officially founded on 15 June 2021, two months ago, as the Ligurian side took over Florentia, who finished 7th in the Serie A Femminile table last season.
