Lazio full-back Adam Marusic visited the Paideia Clinic for medical tests today and is set to be available for the upcoming match against Spezia.
As reported by Italian media outlet LazioNews24 earlier today, the 28-year-old Montenegrin full-back carried out the medical examinations after Pedro this morning at the Paideia Clinic in Rome.
The player has been struggling with a muscle strain for a while now, which is what forced him to miss the final pre-season friendly against Sassuolo but has been training regularly with the squad over the past week.

Lazio are now hoping that Marusic will be fully fit in time for Saturday’s Serie A clash against Spezia, although coach Maurizio Sarri still may choose to deploy Manuel Lazzari in the right-back role, with the Italian impressing in the 3-1 win over Empoli on the weekend.

With his current deal set to expire next year in 2022, the Biancocelesti are now working to renew the 28-year-old’s contract, which could be fully agreed on soon.
